According to Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, Ken Urker is the father of her unborn infant. In a recent non-invasive prenatal paternity test, Blanchard, 32, who is expecting her first child, revealed that her partner Urker, not her ex-boyfriend Ryan Anderson, is the child’s father.
Anderson might be named as Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s baby’s father on the baby’s birth certificate, a Louisiana lawyer told in July.
According to the law of Louisiana, “If the mother is married to someone other than the biological father when the child was conceived or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of birth, the husband/ex-husband shall be the presumed father, unless paternity is established for the biological father.”
On Tuesday, July 9, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard and Urker first announced that they were expecting their first child together. The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup actress, however, filed for divorce from her estranged husband Anderson in April of 2022. If their divorce had now not been finalized by the time the kid was born, Anderson’s name could have been at the delivery certificate previous to the paternity check.
According to this rule, Anderson must attest that Urker is the father in order for Urker’s name to appear on the birth certificate. Urker will need to file a motion with the courts if he doesn’t want his name on the birth certificate. The courts will then require all three of them to do a DNA test in order to identify the father, which has already been finished.
Years before she was released from prison in 2023, Urker proposed in 2018 and their romance ended. Anderson, whom Blanchard married while incarcerated, was her spouse at the time of her release.
The two have been on Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files, since being released from prison and rekindling their romance. There, they revealed that Gypsy-Rose Blanchard‘s parole rules will prevent Urker and Blanchard from living together once they have a child.
